Abstract
A n-BuLi-promoted intermolecular nucleophilic addition of unactivated C(sp3)–H bonds to diazo compounds has been developed. This reaction provides a simple method for the synthesis of benzylhydrazines and alkylthio-substituted ethylhydrazines.
