Abstract

The education about making innovation is tried in many places over the world. In the collegiate education, the education to earn the ability that the students can cope with actual problem in the real society, and that the students can offer the new service with engineering approach, should be involved. However, judging from the questionnaire topics of surveys about the faculty development (FD) by research organizations, it is seemed that the education of basic knowledge and the means to avoid the dropout are focused. And the education about making innovation which becomes important recently is not focused enough. In this paper, as the breakthrough of this problem, the approach of faculty-transversal innovative engineering education in the HSS laboratory of our university is explained.
