Abstract
患者は実業団ラグビー部に所属する28歳男性．練習中に右胸背部を打撲した．来院時，胸部X線写真，胸部CTで多量の液体貯留を認め，胸腔ドレナージを施行した．下肺野の透過性低下は軽度改善したものの，胸膜外とおもわれる部位の液体貯留陰影は増大傾向を認めたことから，内胸動静脈付近からの出血による胸膜外血腫を疑い，緊急血腫除去・止血術を施行した．手術は胸腔鏡下に行い，胸腔内の血腫を除去した後，内胸動静脈付近からの出血を止血し終了した．術後経過は良好であり，術後4日目に退院となった．
