Abstract
ICHIKAWA CO., LTD. was founded in 1949, and is specialized in the press felt industry. The announcement of the extended-nip press concept by Beloit, back in early '70es, motivated us to develop the new technology in both press felt and “belt” products. Initiated the market evaluation of our products from 1982, followed by the sales expansion in 1988, it passed over decade.On this occasion, we report our development strategy and market experience.
