Abstract

Corrosion weight loss during exposure time can be represented by an exponential function model, but that in various meteorological condition cannot be explained by such a model. Corrosion weight loss for some years can be predicted by a linear regression model from the meteorological condition, but the weight loss during exposure time cannot be obtained by using this model. A combination of linear regression and exponential function models has been applied, and this makes the corrosion weight loss to predict during exposure time if the meteorological conditions in a given location are known.
