Abstract

Corrective feedback (CF) in L2 writing has been much studied, including oral and written forms. While many domestic and foreign researchers focus on the effectiveness of corrective feedback. Therefore, this paper focuses on and explores the individual factors that influence the effectiveness of written corrective feedback (WCF), including individual cognitive and affective factors. Then, the important role of learners’ individual factors in CF will be revealed and some suggestions for future researches will be given. And this paper hopes to provide some implications for researchers and teachers, and promote the academic development of the effectiveness of corrective feedback.
