For haulage, the 500113 tandem-type winding skip is installed in the incline-shaft.At the Mayachi Mine, the full-packing longwall system is used to work on the Coal seam, 3.0-5.0m thickness at 60°-70°dip. After the lower part of the seam is worked on and 2 or 3 months later, the upper part is worked on to complete. The Hemscheidt Curved-Band Conveyor is used for haulage of stowing material. The kind of coal produced at the 3 mines is coking coal and especially, the special-fine coal of Heiwa No.1 and No.2 Mine having only 6.5%ash, is noted on the most superior cokemaking coal in Japan. coal in Japan.
