Abstract
The purpose of this study is to make factors of housing developments on waterfronts. First, this manuscript grasps the value of waterfront for living environment and suggest how to plan with factors there. As doing investigation in Yatsu Park Town which is adjacent to Yatsu tideland, Yashio Park Town which is adjacent to Keihin canal and Okawabata River City 21 which is adjacent to Sumida river, the effective answer of 923 was voted. As a result, it is important to secure the view and the influence which residents are able to feel on the waterfront, and they contribute to improve in living environment of housing developments on waterfronts.
