Abstract

A rare case of a foreign body in the larynx is reported. The patient was a 67 year-old-male who accidentally inhaled a fruit of cocklebur (Xanthium canadense) into the larynx. The foreign body was located at the anterior part of the right ventricle and was removed uneventfully under local anesthesia using laryngeal forceps and flexible flberscope.
