Abstract
The maximum pressure in the press nip is one of the most important factors on wet paper dewatering in the press nip. By using the pressure-measuring film, the correspondence between the maximum pressure profile and the moisture profile across the machine after the nip was examined at the press part of a paper making machine.There was a good correlation between them. So the pressure-measuring film is able to evaluate the press condition across the machine.
