Abstract
Based on the structure of a one-dimensional piezoelectric composite plate consisting of a piezoelectric ceramic placed periodically in epoxy, we design and analyze the band structure of S and A mode in the Lamb wave. We verify that the S mode wave is converted to S+A mode wave via mode conversion mechanism. The S mode component can be blocked by the band gap in the mode selection region at appropriate frequencies. The acoustic rectification control is thus demonstrated.
