Abstract
The following is the newspaper web offset press and its out spirits system which was unveiled on April, this year, at Fukushima branch factory of YOMIURI SHINBUN-SHA. Future in mind of highly sophisticated FMS of newsprint production line, YOMIURI and MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES have been co-elaborated for these few years. Newly developed items are as follows.1) Keyless inking unit for text printing.2) CPU aided automatic plate conveying system and its setting robot to the cylinder.3) The robotized paster tail pre-making device of paper roll.4) The automatic web threading-up system in the press, including branching facility of web path.5) Totalized press control system.
