Abstract

Downsizing is required in speed reducers. Hybrid speed reducer has enabled downsizing of the speed reducer by imparting a reducer function in the support bearing of the gear. In order to impart a reducer function in the support bearing of the gear, it is necessary to apply preload to generate normal force. In this report, proposed a variable-preload type hybrid speed reducer using parts that tapered preload ring as a preload method. It is possible to adjust preload by using tapered preload ring. In the test, applying preload required for each target torque. Examined reduction ratio, slip ratio and transmission efficiency from the test results. Maximum target torque is 20N・m, and maximum rotation speed was set at 200rpm.
