Abstract
Topological insulator is one kind of quantum materials which shows many novel quantum properties. Superconductor is relative old quantum materials with one hundred years research history. Both them have attracted much attention in condensed matter physics. In this paper, we briefly introduce the research background and basic characteristics of superconductors and topological insulators, and then carefully review the electronic transport properties of topological insulators, superconducting films and nanobridges, superconducting nanowires, and nanoscale heterostructures of topological insulators and superconductors. Additionally, future developments in this field are suggested.
