Abstract

Amputated fingers have been treated in 124 cases for 5 years from 1981 to 1985. 44 cases of them were amputated distal to D. I. P. joint or IP joint of thumb.Postoperative results were evalutated in 34 cases of 44 cases in regard to motor function, sensory, cirulatory and cosmetic aspects.From this observation, we concluded that replantation of finger tips are more resonable and better in function than composite graft and plasty of stump.
