Abstract
The study aimed to shed light on how Kenzō Tange’s Laboratory designed private offices and developed urbanism from the late 1950s to the 1960s. I utilized Kokuyo Tokyo Branch drawings held by Muroran Institute of Technology. Findings on the following were obtained: 1) characteristics of design methods for office buildings on narrow sites, 2) comparison between facade design using PCa concrete and that using marble, 3) response to a company logo on a building roof.
