Abstract

19 ankles with lateral ligament tears treated surgically were analized by the stress roentgenograms before and after operation and evaluated by the Seligson scale clinically. The result shows that early repair cases were all satisfactory and in late repair cases, instability remains unsatisfactorily compared with early repair cases, and 3 ankles were below 8 points by the Seligson scale.
