Abstract
人工肛門造設患者において,多年にわたる洗腸療法は生体に何の影響もないのだろうか.この疑問に答えようとして一連の臨床的研究を試みた.(1)洗腸療法の洗腸液は腸管中でいかなる状態にあるか.(2)洗腸排液便中の胆汁酸量.(3)洗腸療法継続中の患者における経口負荷胆汁酸試験.(4)人工肛門より挿入したcolono-fiberscopeによる内視鏡観察.(5)光学顕微鏡による,洗腸療法継続中の大腸粘膜の組織学的検査(6)電子顕微鏡による検討.(7)終末回腸粘膜の走査電子顕微鏡による観察.(8)loop colostoma手術切除標本の検索.(9)多年にわたる洗腸療法施行後病理解剖にいたった結腸および終末回腸の組織学的検討.(10)洗腸排液便の細菌叢.これらの結果で,洗腸療法が生体に与える影響として大きなものはなかった,洗腸療法のすぐれた利点を考えれば積極的に洗腸療法を推奨してよいと結論できる.
