Abstract
This report is descriptive of an analysis of all-edge-built-in floor slabs with beams under a uniform load. The analysis employs for a slab E. Reissner's plate theory, whereby to take account of shear deformation, and for a beam S. Timoshenko's beam theory while introducing the effect of the membrane actions caused in a slab panel by the disagreement between its midsurface and the centroidal axis of a beam.
