Abstract
岩手県一関地域に分布する中部中新統下黒沢層と上黒沢層の珪藻化石層序の詳細，および各種微化石層序の生層準との対応関係を記載した．下黒沢層はDenticulopsis hyalina帯のDenticulopsis simonsenii亜帯（NPD 4Bb）に，上黒沢層は，Crucidenticula nicobarica帯（NPD 5A），Denticulopsis praedimorpha帯（NPD 5B）およびThalassiosira yabei帯（NPD 5C）の最下部にあたる．D. praedimorpha帯最下部にあるCrucidenticula nicobaricaの一時的減少は，生層準として生層序学的有用である可能性がある．仙台市南西部地域との対比では，少なくとも８つの生層準が使用可能であるが，石灰質ナンノ化石のCyclicargolithus floridanusの終産出には異時性が認められる．
