Abstract

Visual experiments were employed to investigate the 3-dimentional visual perception for 2-dimentional figure shown on a personal computer display. The figure was a simple cuboid which has a square front, drawn by axometric projection. Subjects were requested to adjust two edges of phenomenal depth line to be parallel in the 3-dimentional space. The results indicate apparent convergence of phenomenal depth lines.
