Abstract
ほぼすべての組織にはマクロファージが恒常的に存在し，これらの組織マクロファージは単に免疫細胞として免疫応答に関与するだけではなく，組織における恒常性の維持にも関与すると考えられている．組織マクロファージは存在する組織によって機能および形態が異なるが，この組織マクロファージの多様性を制御する因子（シグナル）については，不明な点が多い．本稿では，組織マクロファージの分化制御機構および機能について，脾臓のマクロファージを中心に概説する．
