Abstract

Ge Shuiping is a famous contemporary Chinese writer. From childhood,Ge Shuiping was living in Taihang mountain. As a female writer, lacal women's fate makes that she can have an emotional resonance. In her writing, her identity as a woman can better help her understand the fate of women, but also better show women in the face of suffering, strong, brave, unyielding spirit. In Ge's novels, the women are basically women living in the countryside, who have not received much education and have a low level of education. As a vulnerable group, they can only choose to swallow their pride at the beginning. However, their indomitable spirit is valuable, they face the injustice of fate, from tolerance to resistance, and finally complete self-redemption, consciousness awakening is the premise, which mainly includes self-consciousness and gender consciousness of two levels of awakening. Based on the main content of the two novels, this paper will analyze the main characters and their feminist characteristics. At the same time, it analyzes the awakening of female consciousness of the characters in the book. And the author wants to express the deep meaning, that is, Chinese women's self-salvation road is discussed.
