Abstract

In this report, the alloys as follows are used; (a) Sn-base alloy, (b) Zn-base alloy, (c) Albase alloy, (d) Cu-base alloy. It shows how the surface of die-castings is influenced by specific heat, thermal conductivity, casting temperature, temperature of die, and casting pressure. As to Sn-base alloy, the surface of No. 12 alloy is best, and as to Cu-base alloy, tombasil is better than others. The author shows the relation between the component of alloy and the smoothness of surface in this experiment.
