Abstract

Internal mammary lymph node metastasis, sinus histiocytosis and follicular hyperplasia of 150 cases of breast cancer patients were studied. Axillary metastasis was 48% and internal mammary metastasis was 30%. Patients having one lymph node metastasis of axillary nodes were 33.3% metastasis in internal mammary node. Seven cases (10.9%) in 64 cases of Stage I patients had internal mammary metastasis. Therefore, the internal mammary node dissection will be necessary. Low grade of sinus histiocytosis and follicular hyperplasia group have high average of internal mammary metastasis and metastatized lymph node numbers were also considerably.
