Abstract
The Lamb Rolaload Automatic Speed Loading System is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective way in which to load and unload material, damage-free, that allows extremely short turn-around times for trailers that are modified for automatic handling but not limited solely to that service. The system consists of three key elements. First are relatively simple modifications that are made to trailers. Second is the coupling at the loading dock that facilitates positioning of the trailer in proper alignment for loading. And, finally, the Loading/Unloading conveyor on the dock upon which the loads are pre-arranged that delivers the load into (or out of) the vehicle.
