Abstract

A new instrument is developed to visualize the microcirculation map using a dynamic laser speckle effect. The variation of the flow level in the area of interest is displayed in color graphics.Several experiments are applied to an avasculised finger and two different types of skin flaps on the rabbit auricle. It is demonstrated that the color graphic image reflects the local circulation very clearly.
