Abstract

In JABEE self-inspection, it is important to evaluate students' level of achievement vis-á-vis learning and educational objectives. In the civil and environmental engineering program of Kumamoto University, students self-evaluate their comprehension level for three most important items in each subject of the program. Based on their evaluation, two indexes that reflect the comprehension level and learning hours were designed. Then, it was examined whether the program's credits follow an appropriate quality and quantity of learning by using these indexes.
