Abstract

Since the concept of ideological and political education in the curriculum was officially proposed, the education system in various stages and subjects in China has undergone substantial changes and actively integrated ideological and political education in the curriculum through teaching practice and exploration. Although the concept of ideological and political education in the curriculum is not a universal educational formula, it still shows significant advantages in promoting teaching in various subjects. In this regard, starting from the Basic Korean course, this article summarizes the requirements of ideological and political education in the Basic Korean course from the aspects of theoretical educational requirements and practical educational requirements and proposes practical strategies on how to integrate ideological and political education in the teaching of the Basic Korean course, with the aim of exploring the ideological and political elements in the “Basic Korean” course, clarifying the educational goals of the course, improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education in the curriculum, cultivating high-quality talents, and strengthening students’ sense of patriotism, love for their families, and sense of social responsibility.
