Abstract
PURPOSE:To reappear the balanced state easily by storing the optimum values of the heating and drawing power supplies. CONSTITUTION:The optimum output values of the power supply 9 which heats the filament 1 and of the drawing power supplies 4, 7, 8, which apply drawing voltage across the electrodes 3, 5, 6 and emitter 2 are previously stored in the memory 11, outputs of those power supplies are gradually changed from zero by the use of the electron gun power control circuit 10 so that a balanced state of the emitter end is held for the time interval from starting the unit till reaching the optimum output value of power supply. By this way, a shift from the balanced state in starting the unit can be minimized, the balanced state can be reappeared at any time after the state is once set.
