Abstract

It is very difficult to get knitted cloths without faults.For long years, knitting engineers are engaged in solving this problems, and made great efforts to get the good cloths.The authors study the unevenness of the yarn feeding tension on the circular knitting machine for jersey cloths.Test specimens are knitted under various conditions of yarn feeding tensions. Loop Iengths, weight of aunit area etc. of above specimens are determined and influences of theunevenness of above values on the knitted fabrics are discussed.
