Abstract

We report a case of trichilemmal carcinoma of the occipital skin of a 68-year-old female, which metastasized to the bilateral posterior cervical triangle. The primary tumor was resected, followed by bilateral neck dissections with a C-shape incision. The patient died of lung and bone metastases 14 months after the first examination. Of 12 lymph node metastases from this type of cancer, only 3 cases of neck metastases were reported in Japan. The prognoses are generally poor.
