Abstract

This paper describes analytical study on deformation property of reinforced concrete columns using high-strength concrete during a fire. The following conclusions were obtained. 1. The past test results of deformation property in reinforced concrete columns can be reappeared using the model in consideration of the temperature dependability of concrete and a steel rod by nonlinear finite element method. 2. In the stage of structural design, this analysis is useful to selection of concrete strength and member size, and can predict the deformation property of reinforced concrete columns using high-strength concrete during a fire.
