Abstract

Analyses of a circuit constructed using magnetic and power electronic devices need to take into consideration nonlinear characteristics of the devices. Previous analysis and design methods for this circuit however, seem inadequate. In this paper, magnetization characteristics of a shared magnetic system are calculated using the reluctance network analysis (RNA) method. We manufactured a dc-dc converter, using pot cores as a noncontact electric power transmission unit, and examined many characteristics.
