Abstract

ABSTRACT Eleven species of Mysidacea are associated with the Florida Middle Ground, the northernmost hermatypic coral reef in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to the two previously reported species, Anchialina typica and Mysidium integrum, the ranges of Siriella chlerchiae, Bowmaniella sewelli, B. bacescui, Erythrops parva, Amathimysis gibba, and Heterornysis guitarti have been extended to include the northern Gulf of Mexico. Descriptions of three new species, H. beetoni, H. filitelsona, and H. hopkinsi, and a key to the tribe Heteromysini are presented.
