Abstract

Legal and Political Thought of Ancient China – an Attempt of Synthesis The importance and the role of legal and political thought of ancient China, are no longer needed for the development and understanding of the history of political and legal doctrines in pleno. In Poland, in academic studies on this subject, a lot of space devoted to analysis and exegesis of the ideas of ancient Greece or rome, somehow forgetting about so important for the further scientific discourse, the Chinese center. During ancient times, was the apogee of the development of political and legal thought in China. Developed the concepts have been developed not only in ancient Greece or rome, but also in later centuries, took on new meaning and value. resulting in late Spring and Autumn periods (VII–V century BC) and Warring States era (V–III century BC) politico-legal systems and philosophies, have become the foundations for the modern doctrines, referring in its assumptions and bases for the rules governing state and attributes of the ruler and his officials.
