Abstract

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is characterized by hypogammaglobulinemia, impaired antibody responses and an increased suspectibility to infections. It is also associated with other diseases of immune dysregulation including autoimmune disease and malignancy, particularly non-Hodgkin lymphomas. However, few cases of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute leukemias associated with CVID have been described.
