Abstract

Summary The occurrence of hyperthyroidism followed by myasthenia gravis was documented in a 10-year-old male. His response to thyroid surgery was poor. Therapy with thiourea compounds followed by the institution of anticholinesterase therapy has produced a clinical remission. The association and interrelationships of these two diseases are discussed in regard to their interrelationships and therapy.
