Abstract

Peter Bondanella is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature, Film Studies, and Italian at Indiana University. Among his publications are several studies of Federico Fellini, and Italian Cinema from Neorealism to the Present (Continuum International, 1982 and two subsequent enlarged and revised editions in 1990 and 2001), The Films of Roberto Rossellini (Cambridge University Press, 1993); Umberto Eco and the Open Text (Cambridge University Press, 1997), and A History of Italian Cinema (Continuum International, 2009).
