Abstract
My Family Health Portrait is a tool from the United States Surgeon General to assist users with creating a family health history. This tool allows users to learn about health risks that reappear in families and can be taken to health care providers to assist with diagnoses and treatments. This tool was developed by the National Institutes of Health and is maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Utilizing the My Family Health Portrait can encourage people to stay healthy by being aware of their family health history.
