Abstract

Abstract In continuation of postmodernist theories it can be argued that truth is dependent on the viewer. This is a view which has also been held by a number of ancient theologians. These theologians have argued that only through a participation in/beholding of the symbols of faith can Christianity become true. In continuation of this it is argued that when one is able to see through the eyes of faith, one is also able to participate in what is divine, and thus able to live a life, which is not based on falsehood or illusion.
