Abstract

The inequalities confronting older Australians have attracted considerable public attention, and significant attention in this journal (Elder Law Review). One issue that has not been addressed is how a decision by an older person not to be identified as a person with a disability has important implications for the options they then have to begin or continue to use animals to manage their medical conditions.
