Abstract

In this paper we propose a remote laboratory for sharing hardware and software resources not used full time between West and Central African universities in post-crisis situations. This platform guarantees data security thanks to WireGuard which uses proven encryption protocols and algorithms to protect data. Access to resources is effective thanks to the coupling of VPN WireGuard and Apache Guacamole which is a gateway using standard protocols such as RDP, VNC, SSH and TELNET through a browser. The use of the VNC protocol by our gateway required the lifting of the native limits of VNC which does not support sound. The adoption of this laboratory will contribute to the improvement of the educational system in countries in conflict by strengthening the skills of learners and teacher-researchers by providing them with a remote Practical Work environment.
