Abstract

This paper presents an effective method utilizing two neutralization lines to reduce the mutual coupling of a dual-frequency microstrip antenna array. The two proposed neutralization lines connect the two elements at the edge of each radiating patch. The simulation results show that by thoroughly adjusting the parameters of the two neutralization lines, reductions of more than 25 dB at the lower frequency and 35 dB at the upper frequency in the mutual coupling between two antennas have been achieved.
