Abstract

An RF magnetic field applied parallel to the external DC magnetic field in the superconducting YBa 2Cu 3O 7 generates a longitudinal ultrasonic wave. Conversely, the longitudinal ultrasonic wave induces the RF field. The conversion at the lower-temperature region is explained in terms of the vibration of pinned vortices in the linear regime.
