Abstract
This article provides an in-depth examination of the first three verses of Surah Al-Mutaffifin. The surah emphasizes the core Islamic principles of justice and honesty in trade. The verses strongly condemn fraudulent practices in commerce and highlight the negative consequences of such behavior, both religiously and socially. The article discusses the linguistic analysis of the verses, classical and modern interpretations, jurisprudential perspectives, and their place in Islamic law. Additionally, it explores the relevance of these verses in today's commercial practices and their significance in modern Islamic trade law.
