WHAT MAKES A GREAT WORKPLACE? To a parent, an on-site day care center and excellent family medical benefits are essential. To a new graduate, tuition benefits for advanced training might be the most appealing lure. These are tangible benefits—you can assign a price tag to them. Yet for most people, tangible benefits are not really what defines a great place to work. example, having a job that's secure is important to nearly all employees, but you can't assign a dollar value to that. Truly great places to work are defined by more than job security, they're defined by their culture . A great job culture is, as MasterCard likes to say, priceless.
