Abstract
Chords transposer based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) aimed to increase-decrease chords progression of musical chords in musical websites. By using the OCR, we can transform the information of image into the information of text which is easy to manipulate. In our proposed method, the chords transposer will change captured image of chords and lyrics into character or text-chords. The text from the OCR process will be compared with the chromatic circle in order to increase or decrease the music chords progression. The experimental results showed that the musical chords from captured image based on OCR can successfully transpose the chords progression. The overall accuracy of the proposed method is 80 %.
