Abstract

The study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy on level of breast milk secretion among postnatal mothers in P.P.K.Hospital, Kanya Kumari district. 60 samples were selected using purposive sampling technique, 30 samples in study group and 30 samples in control group. Modified Christi breast feeding assessment tool was used to assess the level of breast milk secretion. The findings were significant at p < 0.05 which concludes that the music therapy had an effect on breast milk secretion and improves it.
