Abstract

Several common threads run through this well orchestrated volume which documents the results of using creative therapies with people who have a dementing illness. Particularly commendable is Broton's excellent literature survey. She provides a careful discussion of the literature, examining general responses to music, treatment programmes, assessments and preferences for music activities.
